About the event
Join Emily as she teaches the art behind linocut.
Linocut is the art form of cutting into linoleum or stamp materiel and using that stamp to lift prints using printing ink.
In this class you will be given a book mark shaped soft stamp materiel and guided through hoe to make clean cuts with the linocutting tools.
After cutting your creation, you will learn the different ways to lift a print. Then, you will lift your very own print using our tools provided!
You will be able to take home your print and your stamp after class!
This class uses sharp tools and blades. We do not advise small children under the age of 9 to attend this classes unless supervised by their attending adult.
