About the event
Our local potter Ms. Julie with Jewels Pottery and Fine Art will be guiding you through hand building pottery with soft slab clay.
Creating hand-built creations can be a rewarding and enjoyable experience in pottery class.
Hand-building allows for creativity and personalization. Enjoy the process and have fun creating unique pieces!
IN this class we will be making sgraffito plates. That is the art of carving designs into leather hard clay to make impressions and textured art pieces Provided examples will be available or feel free to find or create your own.
While waiting for our clay to harden between carving times we will have the opportunity to make a seperate pieces of pottery as well so you will be making two pieces in this two hour class!
