Join Emily as she teaches the art behind linocut.
Linocut is the art form of cutting into linoleum or stamp materiel and using that stamp to lift prints using printing ink.
This is a sliding scale pay as you can class. I wanted to give everyone the opportunity to try out a new art form. I personally find this class form to be very meditative and relaxing. I like the process of carving and then lifting prints is always a thrill to see each unique version.
The recommended payment for this class is $15. You have the opportunity to pay more or less when you check out.
In this class you will be given a bookmark shaped soft stamp materiel and you will be guided through how to make clean cuts with the linocutting tools.
After cutting your creation, you will learn the different ways to lift a print. Then,…
