About the event
Our local potter Ms. Julie with Jewels Pottery and Fine Art will be guiding you through hand building pottery with soft slab clay.
Creating hand-built creations can be a rewarding and enjoyable experience in pottery class.
Hand-building allows for creativity and personalization. Enjoy the process and have fun creating unique pieces!
IN this class we will be making a ceramic tea mug with a removable spoon in the handle. Provided examples will be available but we also encourage unique ideas when time allows.
Ms. Julie will guide us through the steps to make sure everyone has a piece they will be proud of. At the end of class Ms. Julie will take all the finished projects back to bisque fire them, glaze them, fire again, then return with the completed piece.
