Project Pride

Welcome to Project Pride presented by the Creative Roots team.

We always celebrate Pride the entire month of June (and literally the whole year) but this year we want to show a different way to celebrate.

 Pride for us is more than rainbow merchandise, fruity drinks, and drag shows (although we love all those things too) Pride is more like permission to be unapologetically authentic. no judgment, no fear, no anxiety, just self.

In these modern times with politics ramming fear down our throats,  and waving threats like flags, we thought it was important to show the community what gay rights have looked like over the years. How our history has changed and evolved over time is an important stone in a paved path laid by our feisty loud and proud ancestors.
