Julie Goodfriend Dallas

A local potter and mixed media artist with her origins near the coastal regions of Southwest Louisiana. Her work uses her love of the ocean and nature with her love of the creative manipulation of mud. She specializes in alternative firing methods and functional art. Her large, organic, handmade bowls are complimented with a piece of driftwood gifted from the ocean. The glass incorporated into the final design adds elegance and a splash of color.

Julie holds multiple art degrees and certifications, and has exhibited throughout the Louisiana/Texas region, winning several awards juried exhibitions. She also has public art on display in a permanent installation at the Tourist Bureau "Adventure Point", located in Sulphur, LA.
