Shari Dearmon

Hi. I'm Shari Dearmon,  co-owner, along with my daughter, Emily, of Creative Roots. Creative Roots has been a dream for a long time. I have been a creative person for as long as I can remember. From sewing the tiniest baby garments to refinishing a piece of furniture to everything in between, creating has been my happy place. I feel most alive when I have a needle or a hammer or a paintbrush in my hand. I can't imagine a world without all the wonderfully talented people covering all the places and spaces with color and design and texture and light. Trust me, your community here in Lake Charles and the surrounding areas is filled with super talented people. And we wanted to gather them all up and put them in one place. And so Creative Roots was born. 

Emily and I dreamed of this place for years, and when it finally came together, it was just as we had envisioned it. And more.
